The 3 Swimwear Trends ASOS Cannot Restock Fast Enough
We're buying swimwear, you're buying swimwear, the whole country is buying swimwear—and it seems to be the case regardless of whether there's a vacation on the horizon or not. When previous summers of sold-out signs are all that you're faced with ahead of a last-minute July jaunt, one learns fast. As we've already discussed here on Who What Wear, this year's swim trends are looking better than ever, and many of them ring in at some pretty budget-friendly price points. One of the leaders of this affordable pack is, of course—who else, ASOS.
From the print that's trending the most, to the flattering fabric girls are buying by the truckload this season, there are three key areas within the brand's swim offering (a whopping 2486 styles) that are proving to be a retail success. That could also be translated as: These three swim trends won't be available for long. So, you know the drill—scroll down to see and shop what's hot on the e-commerce platform right now.
CRINKLE FABRICS
It started with Hunza G and has filtered through the entirety of the swim kingdom, crinkle fabrics are everyone's NBF when it comes to vacation packing. They're flattering, comfy and tick off the sportier feels you've found over on your favorite celebrity's Instagram feeds. The ASOS style that's selling the most is the striped crinkle bikini below, which comes in different mix-and-match tops and bottoms—a navy-and-white iteration will soon be available.

KNOT DETAILS
Just like dresses, shirts and blouses, knots have infiltrated the world of beachwear, and ASOS's knot bikinis (which come in a range of shades with even more options dropping soon) have been hugely popular: yellow sold out right away, and red isn't far behind it. The simple detailing looks far more expensive, and the higher-cut briefs are more on-trend than most.
STRIPES
Polka dots are everywhere for summer, but ASOS shoppers are leaning towards stripes when it comes to their bikini and swimsuit choices. The multicolored bandeau bikini has been the frontrunner so far—it has been going out of stock, but a new drop is imminent.
