The thing about having a sister is that you share a bond unlike any other. You can be compassionate, encouraging, and supportive of each other and, at the same time, brutally honest and opinionated about everything and anything! Since I work in fashion, I'm always the first to give my sister fashion advice and style tips, and I keep her in the know of what to buy at any given time. She, in turn, loves to educate me on all things interiors, which is her forte.

Last week, my sister indulged in some retail therapy at Nordstrom to get new pieces for her upcoming vacation, work, and social events in the approaching months. I happily assisted her of course, which in sister talk means I removed most of the items in her cart and swapped them with versatile, chic, and fashion-forward picks that I knew she'd appreciate, from day-to-night dresses to elevated basics and of-the-moment shoes.
