These Denim-Inspired Fall Looks From Saks Are Anything But Basic
Sponsor Content Created With Saks Fifth Avenue

Welcome to Weekday Wardrobe, a series in which one Who What Wear editor or staffer will snap a pic of the outfits they wear from Monday to Friday. We'll break down where you can shop it all to inspire your own everyday style, no matter what's on your weekly agenda.
If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I'm obsessed with denim. Take a look in my closet (or at a week's worth of my outfits), and you'll quickly notice that my love for jeans truly knows no bounds. While I generally have a bit of a take-it-or-leave-it attitude with seasonal denim trends, I'm really into this fall's offerings, from high-rise styles to wide-leg puddle pants. I want it all, and Saks is making it happen.
Since one quick scroll through saks.com is inspiring way too many good looks, it felt rude not to share the chic and easy weekday outfits I styled around this season's most essential denim from some editor-favorite brands. Keep scrolling to shop them just in time for fall.
I'm not here to pick favorites, but let's just say I'm starting off the week with a bang thanks to this Naadam striped knit that's sitting high at the top of my fall wish list. Pair it with these must-know puddle pant–style jeans by Mother and effortlessly trendy accessories from Loewe and Staud, and you have my perfect fall look.
Tuesday's outfit is highlighting a few trends for fall that feel extra fresh. This Helmut Lang sequined skirt and these Tory Burch slingbacks are inherently cool. A classic jean jacket (with a slightly oversize fit) and an asymmetric white shoulder bag balance these pieces out for daytime while still feeling decidedly fashion-forward.
A fall outfit in its simplest form is a cardigan paired with denim. But let's step it up a notch with these editor-favorite '90s Agolde jeans and an Alice + Olivia cardigan that's here to prove the crochet trend isn't going anywhere. Adding a classic top-handle bag feels perfectly polished against the distressed denim, and a pop of pink in the shoe rounds out this look.
Dress lovers, I didn't forget you. Is there anything cuter than transitioning an eyelet dress to colder weather by adding western boots? I think not. Worn with a denim take on the Marc Jacobs tote you've definitely seen on your feed, this is all very city-meets-country for fall. (And yes, these oh-so chic Givenchy sunnies look amazing on everyone.)
Neutral dressers, look away. The final look of the week is an ode to fall's surprising color trends. There's still a place for autumnal tones, but greens and blues feel a bit more fresh and fun. The options for color play are limitless when you're wearing creamy classic jeans like this pair from Good American that comes with an effortless raw hem and just the right amount of stretch.
